UAV supported documentation and analysis of a La Tène/Roman quarry in Mayen

With the help of a UAV, aerial photographs of the quarry in Mayen were generated and then a 3D model was calculated from them.

Motivation

In further analysis, part of the quarry was interactively segmented into column heads. The location, number and shape of these column heads provide information about the productivity of the quarry.
