Making opening-resistant public administration data accessible for sustainability research - concepts and perspectives for action in the context of research data management (ÖFFNEDICH)
Finished
Reliable spatial data is of central importance for sustainable development. Although public administration data sets are increasingly being made available openly, relevant information is often not available, especially at a large-scale level (e.g. residential districts).
Motivation
Against this background, specific examples will be used to address challenges for researchers and data-holding bodies with regard to the availability of data sets that are resistant to opening. Special features arising from the networking of different datasets will also be taken into account. The aim is to contribute to improved data availability and thus promote sustainable development and related innovations.
